一个关于邮件设置的文题!!

我在FC4下设置Evolution邮件,能进行发邮件操作,但是不能进行收邮件操作,不知道是怎么回事 ,我用的是学校的邮件系统,能够连接的上,求助!! 小弟先谢谢了!!:roll::roll:

建议先 telnet mail_server 110 看有反应不？

然后再联系你们的邮件系统管理员。

1 你的Evolution在POP3上是怎么配置的？
2 你看一下你那个POP3服务器的认证方式，检验方法如下（我用sohu的pop服务器做示范了）

为了安全考虑，我把我的用户名 密码 主机名 都用xxx表示了
第一步先看APOP方式，如果返回 -ERR 那就说明这种方式不行
改用USER PASS方式（RFC中规定，这种方法是每个服务器都应该实现的）

如果想用AUTH命令就用AUTH，不过一般情况下，用USER PASS的方式就可以了。只是这样安全性不太好。

pop3服务器好像根本就连不上啊....界面如下:
# telnet pop.hrbeu.edu.cn 110
pop.hrbeu.edu.cn/110: Name or service not known
好像是没有这个服务器啊....

你那个pop3服务器域名不是mail.hrbeu.edu.cn吗……
