emacs中字体问题

donkey@donkey:/root$ emacs

请问courier和helvetica这两个字体在哪个配置文件中设置
bebian下
donkey:/# find -name ".Xdefaults"
find: ./proc/2918/task: 没有那个文件或目录
donkey:/# find -name ".Xresources"
find: ./proc/2918/task: 没有那个文件或目录
donkey:/# find -name "Xresources"
./etc/X11/Xresources
可这是个目录
没有这两个配置文件，难道我少装了什么东西？
发现即使在~/.emacs中配置了其他字体emacs还是有这个错误出现
