Two strange problems!!!
problem 1:when i mount disks undert windows,i used the following:
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/winc
Afer the mounting ,i can see these files from windows in my new Debian OS,but i can not open them, for even the directories appear as unkown format files.
problem 2:
i downloaded chm_see,and unpack it rightly.then i come to the directory,type:./configure
there comes a problem:the system output is :
checking for C compiler default output... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
are there some softwares that i have not but essential fot the installing?
ps:i have gcc perhaps version 3.3.4 in my Debian.
3ks!!! i am looking forward to your reply!
ricken from WHU better try it in gentoo forums, mate, i never mount windows partitions, so no, i can't help, nor the chm_see.
