SLAX-5.0 发布！

新特性多的让我惊讶：
v 5.0.0 standard edition (4th of April 2005):

- added Linux kernel 2.6.11.6
- added new sound (alsa) and wifi (madwifi) drivers
- added KDE 3.4 with some configuration tweaks to be even nicer
- based on Slackware-current and Linux Live 5 with UnionFS and SquashFS

- added MySLAX creator to edit SLAX iso in Windows
- added webconfig boot option, to save/restore config on SLAX website!
- SLAX cdrom is ejected before reboot
- wheel is used automatically in X, wheelmouse boot option removed
- copy2ram boot option forces cd eject automatically

- added perl so ndiswrapper 1.1 should finaly work
- added nodma boot option to disable DMA for CDROMs and disks
- updated nvidia nforce drivers (network, sound)
- mplayer upgraded to 1.0pre6a
- default sound volume is 77% instead of 88%

- removed boot options mousedev, mouseproto, hrefresh, vrefresh, colordepth
- removed tohd and fromhd boot options
- removed nolock boot option, cd should be unlocked automatically
- removed hdc=ide-scsi boot option, works automatically with kernel 2.6
- removed many other boot options

安装到硬盘有了专门的安装程序
windows下有了编辑slax iso的工具
基于slax-5.0.0的FanX-1.0将在本周放出，敬请期待.....

要添加的软件包我都准备好了
你最好是在还不能下载的时候把你的那个窗口打好tgz包，以后省事。这个桌面这次能做什么样就什么样，不用太苛求了。
我日日等夜夜等，新版本我等了两个月，每天登录网站看进度，现在终于发布了！
因为《玩电脑》杂志5月刊要登关于FanX-1.0文章，这周完不成很难交差了。 :mrgreen: 不过我觉得没有问题。
最让我郁闷的是官方体积增加到了189M，做210M越来越难。Tomas开始向210M挺进，而我们恐怕只有向大光盘合1.4/1.8G的miniDVD挺进了

前几天到书店看到一本忘了名的报刊（或杂志）04年合订本，里头就有一遍关于fanx的文章，评价还是满不错嘀。 :mrgreen:
