magic的声卡支持问题

我知道发这种菜鸟问题很不对，但我实在是没有办法了，刚升了平台一个星期，就是为了学linux，装了fc3,redhat9,都基本上搞定了，就是在magic下声卡不能发声，系统找不到，求教各位大虾，谢谢了
我的主板是：ASUS K8U-X，板载soundmax Integrated Digital audio，在windows下安装ad1888能正常驱动，求在magic的声卡安装方法，再次感谢

下个alsa-driver装上，然后alsaconf。

SoundMax，是ALC的芯片吧？把你alsaconf的错误信息贴上来。

I have the same problem under debian-unstable with kernel-2.6.13.I have also downloaded the newst alsa-driver and recompiled it,but didn't work.

now i use oss,it works! 4 months liecens,after that i must reinstall oss.

this card works with alsa,kernel from fc-4.

And now i must install the chinese-input,a little configuration. ;-)

mainboard is asus k8u-x.
