请教：检测过程中死机！！在线急等！！！！

各位老手：
   小弟是菜鸟，才学linux，我在安装了windows xp(C:>   fat32),windows 2003(d:   NTFS)后，把E：盘删除后，安装linux,可是安装过程中，安装开始不久，系统检测过硬件后，机子就开始不动了，请问是怎么回事？

which distrobution u use? we need the hardware u use to guess the porblem as well.
