VM常规操作无法安装显示驱动程序

安装系统为
RedHat 9.0
Enterprise linux as (c) 2003 red hat , Inc.

正确加载VM工具
将虚拟光区挂载至tmp目录
进行常规tar解压缩
进入VMxxxxtools目录
两个可执行文件：
INSTALL
vmware-install.pl

执行INSTALL 刷刷的... ...此后执行X 黑屏
后按教程执行 vmware-install.pl ，提示无法找到此文件 ... ...

啥原因？ 正打算将vmware-install.pl更名 为vmwareInstall.pl,去掉那个
"-"符号，再执行看看 ... ..

刚更名为vmInstall.pl 还是提示找不到这个命令... 但LS命名存在

昨天查了 执行.\xxxx
后来网上说选择默认即可，但到了这步不知该如何应对
执行.pl文件后 按默认选项，大多都是yes，后到这步不知该如何应对
Using compoiler "yes"
Use environment variable CC to override
