问题-Linux 现在支持Nvidia MCP61P芯片组吗
我的主板是NVIDIA MCP61P芯片组，好像是NVIDIA 8 月份发布的，（买的时候没注意，
被JS给耍了，只看重价格了）
Linux好像不支持太新的硬件？？？ 我不能回答你的问题。
我想说的是，Linux 的软件包很规范啊，deb、rpm 等等，都能找到文件格式定义。源码包一般是用 autotools 做的，也都是一致的。
倒是 windows 下的程序，一般都是一个二进制的安装程序，软件作者可以偷偷地捆绑上他想要的任何东西，不容易发现。 恩，应该是支持的。不过建议你用最新的发行版

Linux能兼容 8 月出的硬件，呵呵！！
我看了Ubuntu 6.10 的硬件支持列表，只兼容到C51芯片组；
看来我只有和同学换了板子先用用了 我用的就是C61,都跑这了。你出错在那？

To apply this patch, you will need to extract the 1.0-9625 driver:
# ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9625-pkg1.run -x
then it can be patched:
# cd NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9625-pkg1/
# patch -p0 < ../NVIDIA_kernel-1.0-9625-NOSMBUS.diff.txt
and finally installed:
# ./nvidia-installer -shttp://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=20486&d=1158955681 我C61下用RH9自己up了内核。用了 9626的驱动跑UT跑的很好。。

这有03f0，就是C61的声卡。 已经解决了,编译了2.6.19.1的内核;只有声卡有问题(噪音ALSA 1.0.13)
搞了2多月,查了不少资料,编译了5次内核,辛苦啊,当初就不该买C61的,
还有以后不买HD声卡了,mic不能用，ALSA的驱动有噪音…………………… 我用的是 C51 的板子，C61 不过是将 C51 的南、北桥整合到了1个芯片里。
我的声卡驱动用的是老的 nForce 驱动 1.0.310，新版1.21已经支持 HDAudio 了，你去试试看。 现在的fc6支持，ubuntu还不行~~~你可以自己升级一下内核，那样就都没有问题了 我用的就是的主板是NVIDIA MCP61V芯片组,都跑这了。你出错在那？ 是X起不来还是net不通？
我用的是MDV2007,装上For FC6驱动了.还是不能上网.好像是参数错误.我看了,那个for FC6的rpm包就只两个文件,一个是用于64位的ko文件,一个是用于32位的ko文件.我都链接到了mdv内核的对应目录了啊.

rpm 文件并不是完全通用的，最好是装 for mdv 的 rpm 包，或是装官方的 nforce 1.0.310 那个驱动。 没有for mdv的.原码包只有一个C文件,不知道如何编译.
