今天与朋友们一起分享的是英国著名民谣歌手Yusuf的新专辑《An Other Cup》，它刚于本月14号发行。Yusuf从上世纪70年代末后似乎鲜有新作问世，呵，现在他终于重出江湖了。Yusuf原名Steven Georgiou，原艺名Cat Stevens，1947年出生于英国伦敦。他以Cat
Stevens作为艺名开始了自己的歌手生涯，代表作包括《Morning Has Broken》、《Lady
D’Arbanville》、《Wild World》、《The First Cut is the Deepest》和《Moon
Shadow》等。1977年，Cat Stevens改信了伊斯兰教并将名字改成了Yusuf Islam。两年后，他逐渐从流行音乐界淡出。时隔多年，Yusuf带着他的新专辑走近了我们，在专辑中他除了负责主声外，还参与了吉他、钢琴和键盘的演奏，一起助阵的有“Cat
Stevens”以前的吉他手Alun Davies、Jean Roussel和塞内加尔歌手Youssou N’Dour。
Yusuf炉火般温暖的嗓音，或低声轻诉或自然爽朗，时而温柔时而深情，合着清晰简约的节奏，质朴悦耳的音符，融化了一层又一层的冷漠。
