mdk 9.1 chinese problem
about mk9.1 Chinese problemthe first problem is:
can not display chinese correctly, always with some charactors being replayed by some small squares.
the second prroblem is:
can not input chinese. mk9.1 has xcin in default, but can not start. although i have installed xsim(accounding to some articles in this bbs), stilll can not input chinese.
the third problem:
can not install wine,, when i am trying to install wine(rpm), it is said:
error: failed dependencies:
cups-libs >= 1.1.12 is needed by wine-20030318-1rh8winehq
perl(Cwd) is needed by wine-20030318-1rh8winehq
perl(File::Basename) is needed by wine-20030318-1rh8winehq
perl(File::Copy) is needed by wine-20030318-1rh8winehq
perl(strict) is needed by wine-20030318-1rh8winehq
because i am a newer to linux, so can anybody tell me how to solve these problems in details? better in English as my pc can not display chinese very well, thanks very much,, waiting for your kind reply! If you haven't install any additional fonts supplied by Windows, there would be nothing wrong when displaying Chinese. Most of articles posted here may have some little problems.
I haven't tried XSIM before. I'm using fcitx now, which works fine in MDK9.1. And, SCIM is a wonderful choice, too.
Before you can install any other IMEs, you should uninstall any existing IMEs by "rpm -e Chinput" and "rpm -e xcin". Doing this using Software Manager is more safe.
The dependencies problem appered during install wine is very common. If it is possible, try install every component included in MDK9.1. You can do this by Software Manager in Mandrake Control Center. 又是英文?哦,天那,幸好,我的英文勉强,还算看得懂一点点,大概60%,呵呵
