华硕手提电脑装不了linux 请帮忙

我的手提是asus 的 A6W42CRp-DR
Celeron-M 420
ATi集成芯片组

在安装的时候出现
Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel
之后就定在那里

我在text linux模式安装就出现很多东西
Using HPET for base-timer
Using HPET for gettimeofday
Detected 1600.312 MHz processor.
Using hpet for high-res timesource
之后还是安装不了

请各位帮下忙

不知道你用的什么版本。我用的puppy linux.不用安装。用grub加载内核后可以直接调系统从fat32上。NTFS没有试过。这是livecd。 但可以不用cd
