安装了257，依然进不了图形界面。执行nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf 之后什么都没显示，一片空白。咋回事？本来想改intel为vesa来着。 默认是不生成这个配置的。X -configure生成一个，然后再改。 原来这样 还是没有内容。 对于楼上这种超级新手，你们的提示都太简单了。X -configure 不会给你生成 /etc/X11/xorg.conf 。他为了安全，只在当前用户的主目录上面生成一个 xorg.conf.new 。这个文件还不一定生成的了，所以必须看输出。
对了，我前几天网上看到好像是说 intel 的显卡驱动必须有 agp gard 的支持才能用。我觉得现在 intel 的显卡驱动问题还是解决不了很不正常了…… 报告：行了。只不过桌面的分辨率一直1024×768。不知道能不能自己安装intel的显卡驱动。用的是前一个帖子（http://www.linuxfans.org/bbs/thread-194867-1-1.html）里的
X -configure
sed -i 's/intel/vesa/g' xorg.conf.new
mv xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf
这些命令，然后nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
修改了intel为vesa。然后进入了系统。
执行了lspci|grep VGA之后显示：

我编译的新内核倒是把所有的 agp 支持以模块方式编译，或许可以使用 intel 驱动，Xorg 现在能升级了，可能是 新版 udev 配置有问题，反正没有一个升级的 xorg 版本能正常启动或使用。。。 原帖由 jiangtao9999 于 2011-4-18 19:58 发表 http://www.linuxfans.org/bbs/images/common/back.gif

呵呵，intel的显卡只在2.5正式版的时候正常支持了一回，那是因为有人测试，没人配合测试的话，很难再完善支持。intel显卡需要内核/drm/mesa/xorg/驱动互相配合才行。 udev/drm/mesa/xorg/ 配合不好的话，显示就成问题了。 貌似这个网站http://intellinuxgraphics.org/是跟显卡有关的，我懂得不多，希望能帮到忙。 这有台机器，装的是ubuntu的，倒是可以跑X
已经没有空分区装一个新的系统了，如果有一个 可以跑在2G u盘 上的小系统，倒是可以试一试

zombie@zombie-laptop:~$ 这没什么用处。而且intel显卡的支持不仅是能显示的问题。 xorg 1.9.3 真正地不需要 xorg.conf ，系统会自动寻找第一个适用的驱动启动 X，而不是跟据这个配置死在那里，不过安装过官方驱动后最好不要动 xorg.conf ，否则你得重装驱动。
