我把一个40G的区格式化成了ext3格式，想把它的labe设成/home但不知怎么设，

that /home is not label, it is a dir. u can mount this partition to that /home.
create a /home in u root partition and modify u /etc/fstab to use the partition.

我写错了，home 才是lable
if the partition(etc:/dev/hda2)label is home ,
in the fstab,i can do like this:
LABEL=/home   /home   ext3 .....
instead: /dev/hda2 /home .....
