redhat 7.3 on vmware

I run vmware on win2k and try to install redhat 7.3 on it,
When I try to check the media of the red hat disk 2, it shows error.
But there is no error at all if I check the disk without vmware.
( boot on the linux disk 1 and check).

I believe this is the false alarm of vmware because I have install
the red hat 7.3 before on a bare PC

Does anybody meet this problem before?

没碰到过，把7.3盘做成镜像文件，然后用虚拟光驱试试。
