内核中的acpi？

有那位大虾知道在kernel2.4.20中的acpi支持能否在notebook中实现阿，我用的是redhat7。3，是不是要打一个acpi的补丁，还要一个kacpi的软件来管理阿？


盼各位尽快回答，此问题困扰小弟多时了，想称现在放假解决掉，请各位多多帮忙阿！！！！！！！

no idea, i use my laptop from 9:00 am to 11:pm, more than a desktop, no chance to let it acpi.

i have t least 8 pcsand servers in lab.but i use them all days and reinstall from time to time. so i haveto use a laptop as my working machine. so it runs like that. i think dell one is good. hope it can works beforei have money to buy a new one.

但如果是东芝的笔记本一定要ACPI支持。否则，很多东西不能用，如声卡。2.4.20没有ACPI，要打补丁的。

pjc5520, yes, i rember u also patch the acpi patch. can u post more info here?
i only choose dell laptop suppot and apm in kernel for my dell laptop, and no time to try more.

next year, i may change to a ibook, hehe.

我每次安装好系统以后都要重新打补丁，编译内核，我期待着2.6内核，就不用打补丁了，但是我试过2.5的内核，至今没成功过。我不太清楚ACPI在Dell机器中的作用。
