我用的是REDHAT7.3
# rpm -ivh gcc-3.2-7.i386.rpm
error:failed dependencies:
CPP=3.2-7 is needed by gcc-3.2-7
binutiles>=2.12.90.0.7-1 is needed by gcc-3.2-7
glibc-devel>=2.2.90-12 is needed by gcc-3.2-7
libgcc>=3.2-7 is needed by gcc-3.2-7
后来有人提示我说把这些需要的文件先装了，我又把光盘拿出来从新装，除了一个文件，其他都装好了，错误提示是这样的，
glibc-devel-2.2.5-34.i386.rpm
error:failed dependencies:
kernel-headers is needed by glibc-devel-2.2.5-34
dernel-headers>=2.2.1 is needed by blibc-
devel-2.2.5-34
有人又说要升级安装GCC，可提示还是和以前的一样啊，我刚刚接触到LINUX就给我一个下马威。

one method i use is to put all of them in one command
rpm -ivh gcc-... binutils.. kernel... glibc-...


i mainly use gentoo. so not sure if this is correct or not. but anyway it works for me most of the time.

u ask this to system installation branch. more possible answers from there.

不过要执行新安装，如果是升级安装的话出大问题。反正所有有用的东西都放在另外一个叫DATA的分区上。

:-( 我终于把GCC给装好了，不过又遇到新问题了，在装APACHE是提示说libmm.so.11文件没找到，我想这些文件应该都在安装光盘里吧，不可能每装一个软件都要去网上下载他依赖的文件吧，你们知道吗？这个文件在哪里有？

can u find mm-1.1.3-11 RPM for i386 or sth like that from u cd?
