Can the INT program in graphic card bios work correctly in linux runnning on mips cpu? I don't know whether that bios program can run on mips cpu.

could you give me some suggestion about the books on vga & framebuffer & how to use assembly language to controll graphic card?

sorry, i can not give u any suggestion. i have no interest on xfree and never spend time on it. what i know is small part of linux kernel. especially on i/o , fs part.
