VMware安装声卡...
我依照以往在winME安装声卡的方法在VMware安装(VMware在RH8运行),但是都不成功..请问该怎样设置才能成功安装??,还有,请问如何能访问其他分区(我在我的电脑哪里只能看见C盘)?? 你应该将你以前在vm上安装声卡的方法说一下要在vm里的系统访问原来的真正分区,在加载了相应的cfg文件后,不要急着poweron,用编辑设置的功能,编辑ide信息,将真正的硬盘设备挂上其中的一个ide位置就可以访问了,但建议不要往真正硬盘上写东西
加载真正物理硬盘上分区后产生的一切问题概不负责 先试试，感谢llc兄！！ 在win2k下运行VMware(内用winMe)，成功有声音！！
1)Click the Printers and Other Hardware link in the Windows XP or Windows .NET Server ControlPanel (Start > Control Panel).
2)In the See Also pane, click Add Hardware, then click Next.
3)Select Yes, I have already connected the hardware, then click Next.
4)In the Installed Hardware list, select Add a new hardware device, then click Next.
5)Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), then click Next.
6)Select Sound, video and game controllers, then click Next.
7)Select Creative Technology Ltd. in the Manufacturer list and Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 orcompatible (WDM) in the list of devices, then click Next.
8)Click Next.
9)Click Finish
10)(Start > Control Panel).
11)In the See Also pane, click Add Hardware, then click Next.
12)Select Yes, I have already connected the hardware, then click Next.
13)In the Installed Hardware list, select Add a new hardware device, then click Next.
14)Select Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced), then click Next.
15)Select Sound, video and game controllers, then click Next.
16)Select Creative Technology Ltd. in the Manufacturer list and Sound Blaster 16 or AWE32 orcompatible (WDM) in the list of devices, then click Next.
17)Click Next.
18)Click Finish

在RH8下运行VMware(内用winME),成功安装，但是声音非常非常的差！！！，安装如下:
1)Be sure your physical sound card is installed and configured properly on the Linux hostoperating system. Refer to the documentation for your particular Linuxoperating system. Youmay need to install additional software on your system to support sound. VMware cannot providesupport assistance in configuring sound on your host operating system. Please contact your hostoperating system support provider or sound card manufacturer for help.
2)Add a virtual sound adapter to the virtual machine. By default, the virtual sound adapter isnot installed in the virtual machine.
3)In the Configuration Editor (Settings > Configuration Editor), click Sound.
Provide the device name in the Device field. Type in or browse to the device that representsyour sound card (for example, /dev/dsp). 我也是用这个，但是我在RH8也是这个，难到是有冲突，该怎样 做？？？
4)Click the Install button, then click OK to save the configuration and close the ConfigurationEditor.
5)(Start > Control Panel).

声卡连到/dev/dsp 我用vmware虚拟的98，到驱动之家下载creative的声卡驱动安装就行了，安装过程需要98的光盘 具体型号是哪个 :?:
