关于MD5文件

下载Mandrake 9.2的时候。
发现除了
MandrakeLinux-9.2rc2-CD1.i586.iso
MandrakeLinux-9.2rc2-CD2.i586.iso
MandrakeLinux-9.2rc2-CD3.i586.iso
这3个ISO文件外。
还有个9.2rc2.md5sums.asc文件。这个文件是不是大家说的MD5文件啊？

that is the checksum file for your downloaded iso files using md5 method. it is used to check if your download is good. as idealy, if your download is wrong by 1 bit, the checksum would be different to the correct one. but if you are confident about your download, you can ignore them safely.
