A qustion about install KDE3.1

I download the folder i386 for Redhat 9.
run"rpm -Uvh *.rpm --nodeps --force" to install it.
when it finished, nothing is changed .
is this normail???

那是不是rpm -Uvh *.rpm --nodeps --force
后kde就变成了kde3的界面了？

是在redhat9里面
