help !! vmware rehat8.0 分辨率问题

我在vmware 下装了 redhat8
redhat-config-xfree86 想修改分辨率成640x480，可每次保存重起xwin后，分辨率还是800*600，
请问是什么问题呢？是vmware才有的问题吗？因为我在真实rh8是可以修改分辨率的

编辑rh8里的/etc/X11/XF86Config-4,将里面有关800*600的选项删掉(改动前记得备份一个)

没办法了 ？
只好把window分辨率设1024*768，linux的xwin设800*600这样才可以看见xwin的全屏

要是320x240对应的是1280x1024那什么对应着800x600？我现在装的好郁闷啊。

KDE进去了就是看不见全屏！
