nvidia6106安装问题

在安装nvidia驱动时出现以下警告:
WARNING:
Your kernel was configured to include rivafb support as a loadable kernel module

The rivafb driver conficts with the NVIDIA driver;the NVIDIA kernel module will still be built and installed but be aware that the NVIDIA driver will not be able to function properly if the rivafb module is loaded!

我没理它,接着修改xorg.conf,然后startx,没出问题.请问rivafb这个模块是干什么2用的?(kernel-2.6.7,Fedora Core 2)

rivafb是nvidia riva显卡对字符界面下framebuffer的支持，完全可以不用理会。
