显卡问题，急救！！！！！(nvidia)
各位大虾,暑假期间装了linux,redhat8.0我的配置是:双敏nfroce 2 ultra 400+双敏速配GF4MX440 8x,256mb ddr333,装了win2k+winxp+redhat8.0可是红帽就是认不出显卡,一近红帽就是60hz的刷新率,实在受不料,显卡自带驱动,一个是压缩包,另一个是:NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run,安装过程如下:
shell下:cd /sbin
init 3
sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run
然后重起,开机还是60hz的刷新率,用x显示探测还是vesa的驱动!!!!再修改颜色深度为24,注销登陆进不了xwindows,修改回来鼠标出问题,一直处于屏幕的右上角,怎么整也不会移开那地方,
求助啊!!!!!到底驱动怎么装???我的8.0kernal好象是2.4.**!!!大家都来帮忙啊~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 没人帮忙吗??? :shock::shock: 救命的事 啊!~~再装不了,不是机死就是我亡!!!! :evil: 你的配置可以用RH9或FC1/2,但是RH8.0不适合你. 有没有修改XF86Config-4里的显卡 Driver 为"nvidia" ？！ 我给你一个XF86Config吧好好研究吧

你的是nvidia的主板为PCI:2:0:0 嗯`，我的RH9就没有出你的问题，我们的机器配置一样的，我看看还是换9或FC试一下
