How to install Adobe Reader ?!

In the README of the Adobe Reader, it tell me run the "INSTALL"(it is a X-shellscript) .

i double-click the "INSTALL" icon,

the system always tell me "Can't Open INSTALL".

Who can help me ?!

BTW. i use Fedora Core 2

你去找个rpm的来安装好了，在公社的“自由软件”里可以打到，好象是5.5的。

去Adobe的官方战下载Linux下的Adobe Reader 5.09主程序，并下载简体和繁体中文支持。
解压后进入解压出来的目录，在终端中执行它的Install脚本，然后按照提示操作就可以了。

still can't install...


i download the filelinux-509.tar.gz from adobe.

i use "gzip -d linux-509.tar.gz" to unzip the file.

in the README file, it tells me as follow:

   To install Acrobat Reader 5.0.9, follow these steps:
    - Make sure you have at least 30 MB of available disk space
    - Install Reader 5.0.9 by running the INSTALL script

Then i double-click the "INSTALL" , the system tells me "Cannot open INSTALL".
