HELP:How to install scim?

now
my os is redhat linux 10.3
I install it to my pc yesterday
but it doesnt has chinese input platform
i down ascim-0.99.2-1fc2.i386.rpmfor my os
but during my installing .popup the following words:

# scim

i dont know why
please help me with this problem.

输入法服务器没有打开，当然不能安装啦。要运行输入法服务器xcin

安装的时候就不再出现这些问题了
只是在一个命令提示：
START as doman
的时候系统的命令不再继续进行下去了
各位说这是怎么回事？？？
