MYSQL安装问题? 跪求指导!
以下是我在readhat9上装mysql的情况,请指导一下是怎么回事,装不上呢!谢谢 :-)# ./configure --prefix=/usr/
local/mysql

Installing all prepared tables

To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy support-files/mysql.server
to the right place for your system
PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:
./bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
./bin/mysqladmin -u root -h localhost.localdomain password 'new-password'

You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd . ; ./bin/mysqld_safe &
You can test the MySQL daemon with the benchmarks in the 'sql-bench' directory:
cd sql-bench ; perl run-all-tests

Starting the mysqld server.You can test that it is up and running
with the command:
./bin/mysqladmin version

# mysql不是这样安装的，是先手工将软件放到/usr/local/mysql中，然后执行............
不好意思，后面的命令忘记了 :mrgreen:
只要看readme就可以了，按照上面说的做。 又是一个把二进制版当源代码版安装的～～ :twisted:
