RedHat 9.0 安装 分区表错误，请教！

我已经有winXP 系统。现通过光盘启动安装RedHat 9.0，进入分区步骤前，系统报如下错误：

The Partition table on device hda was unreadable.To create new Partition, it must be initialized, causing the loss of All DATA on this drive.

This operation will override any previous installation choices about which drives to ignore.

Would you like to initialize this drive ,erasing All DATA?

我的问题是：
我不能删除C盘（hda）中的数据（因为很重要），只能选Cancel，因此安装无法进行。我回到WinXP系统，启动PQ 8.0，它也显示“分区表错误”，也无法更正。

我应该如何进行安装呢？ 或者如何修改分区表？
请大家指教，非常感谢！
