suse 10内核编译后的问题

今天下载了个2.6.28内核来编译，系统是suse10 在vm上跑的，硬盘是scsi
make menuconfig
make
make modules_install
make install

重启时系统出现：
Loading thermal
Loading fan
loading reiserfs
Waiting for device /dev/sda2 to appear: ....... not found --exiting to /bin/sh

在make menuconfig 时我已经把  <M> Reiserfs support  配置为模块了，
如果将Reiserfs support 配置到内核中的话在make  install时会出现
Cannot determine dependencies of module reiserfs. Is modules.dep up to date?
的系统提示
scsi的选项也是
<*> SCSI device support
<*> SCSI disk support

请问这是什么原因引起的？谢谢
