ok, we already use binutils 2.14, gcc 3.3 and glibc 2.3.2 to setup a cross compiler environment and succ compile a kernel and samba. next week i will post the scripts and patchs to make this work.

i use gentoo 1.4 on my laptop. and rh9 for my server. and rh8 for other machines in my lab. my cross compile host is a rh7.3 or rh8, i forget.

斑竹,你好,我现在正在用LART的BLOB bootloader（http://www.lart.tudelft.nl/）,我用的是linux-2.4.18, 在配置编译的时候出错,配置如下: env CC=arm-linux-gcc ./configure --prefix=/data/lart/cross(我的编译器所在的路径) --prefix-linux=/home/linux-2.4.18/(linux源码所在地) --target=arm-elf(编译后的格式)
我的配置有什么错误吗?

我现在在做一个SA1110+LINIX SYSTEM，使用blob bootloader + linux2.4.18 + ramdisk（32MSDRAM+4MFLASH）.将BLOB，LINUX KERNEL，RAMDISK 烧写进FLASH后，配置RAMDISK做为系统的文件系统，如何配置RAMDISK做为系统的文件系统？谢谢斑竹了！

can u check the uclinux. i remember it default use a ram file system.

i forget the detail. i have not touched embedded system for half year now. my boss changed me to another project. :-( :-( :-(
