Redhat8.0下XMMS播放Mp3快速解决方案

Redhat8.0自带的XMMS不能播放mp3，其实有一个很好的两种解决办法 ：
1.如果你不想用本站的xmms：
到http://www.gurulabs.com/downloads.html 去，找到
xmms-mp3-1.2.7.13.p.i386.rpm链接下载下来。
该文件是专门为Redhat8下XMMS不能播放mp3而准备的。
执行rpm -Uvh xmms-mp3-1.2.7.13.p.i386.rpm安装。
OK!搞定。
2.下载本站的xmms[支持mp3播放的]
先载掉你本机的xmms后，下载本站的1.27版的xmms安装。运行。OK就@@
##乱码问题。
在歌曲清单的字体设置：选择菜单中的[选项]->[功能设定]->[Font]页，将字体改成
-*-*-medium-r- normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0
并选中“Use fontsets”和“Use X font”两项即可。

本站的xmms1.2.7是完全版本,用--nodeps参数装上就可以用了,难道大家一直都不知道?!

其实 xmms-mp3-1.2.7-13.p 也是来自  Freshrpms.net  ， 人家把 fr 字样去掉了 ！

我按照上面的方法,安装没问题,但是播放的时候出现问题:

装了又卸,卸了又装,好几遍了,同样是上面的问题,请问应该怎么办?

怪了,你将/tmp/mcop类似的文件删掉再运行试试
缺少那个文件是正常的,我这里运行也是这样:
libvorbisfile.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

我的系统是SIMSUN汉化过的.............如果加上-*-*-medium-r- normal--14-*-*-*-*-*-gb2312.1980-0:那样的字体后,就什么也不显示了  ?????????

simsun字体用gbk-0或iso10646-1编码试试

为什么RH8缺省不能播放MP3文件？
唉！还好我仍然用着RH7.2。感觉机器已经跑不动RH8了。
