我本来是在17寸的显示器(分辩率1024X76安装redhat9,当我使用15寸显示器的时候提示超出同步范围,于是我又到17寸的显示器下把分辩率改为800X600,这样可以在15寸显示器下使用,但是我发现状态栏里就没有东西,当最小化一个窗口时,就找不到刚才打开的窗口了,这是什么原因爱?????

用#XFree86 -configure测试一下，按照后面的提示做下去。

结果是遮掩的:
[root@RUOSHUI root]# XFree86 -configure

Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
        If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
        and start again.
