my rh9 don't start chieseinput when I press ctrl+space
why????

and I have miniChinput-0.0.3-37 in my rh9

because of system update,I updated my rh9 and updated kernel
my openoffice doesn't show me normal chinese font too,why???

you'd better download a new software about chinput
you can try  fcitx,it's ease to install and use
rpm -ivh fcitx...................

oh.you make a mistake
rpm  command only use in  the file of rpm stlye
so you can use  tar  to instal  fictx.tar.gz
for exmaple
tar -zxvf  fictx.tar.gz
cd fictx
./config
make
make install
**************
job finished

我用TAR 安装的时候

[root@localhost root]# tar -zxvf fictx.tat.gz
tar (child): fictx.tat.gz: Cannot open: 没有那个文件或目录
tar (child): Error is not recoverable: exiting now
tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

出现这中情况~再己于 在继续~问问~

这样在当前目录为生成一个解压后的文件，你进入该文件，然后./config      make   
make  install
注意/前面有个"."
基本上就可以了

我现在在办公室里  但是昨天晚上我就发现一个SHELL 文件并没有发泄有INSTALL
就三个文件 一个README 还有一个就是 FICTX的SHELL文件和 一个目录
USR里面有BIN 和SHARE文件 README上面写着让我把SHELL文件放到启动目录里面 其他的文件放到对应的地方
我现在不知道在哪里是启动目录 于是找了一个很多的SHELL文件目录放进去了~~
哈哈~
再问~~~~
我挂载以前的WIN系统的一个MP3文件夹 但用X MEDIA PLAYER 播放时 却老是出现问题~
这个要怎么解决~
