./configure xlyrics的问题

将xlyrics解压后进入所在目录按照安装说明执行./configure
出现以下问题:

checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler  cannot create executables
