openoffice2.0太慢了怎么办？

openoffice功能还不错，就是启动的时候太慢，今天记时了，居然要46s
太夸张了阿。刚才搜索了帖子，在我的桌面e17下似乎也没有什么好办法阿
我电脑配置也不算太差 xp2000+   512M

This is a problem after update OpenOffice from fedora.com server. It has something with the jpackage's Java. So I worked it around by removing the OpenOffice of Fedora core 4, installing openoffice2.0 beta form the offical site: openoffice.org.

and more:if you still can't start up very fast,try to set your default printer into the virtual pdf printer  so that it won't connect to the default printer on startup.
