About Chinese charaters

In Fedora core 3, GNOME, if I login as a normal user, I can input Chinese characters without any trouble, but if I login as the root user, I can't input any chinese character, Can any kind people help me out

那你怎么不用普通用户来问问题。

没用过 fc3 不知道怎么帮你。

把你的 root 登录后的环境变量贴出来, 输入以下登录贴出输出

env | grep XMO

locale
