为什么我必须反复重启httpd服务才可以登陆该web服务器?

这几天我们实验室的web服务器出了问题，必须反复重启httpd服务才可以登陆，现在重启了，过了一会儿又不行了。请问这是怎么回事?怎么解决这个问题？谢谢！！我装的是RedHat9.0。

就是这样的，我们的web服务器同时也是我们实验室的邮件服务器。我们经常需要通过web方式从其它机器登陆这台机器收信发信。但经常出现无法登陆的现象，就是你在地址栏输入该web服务器的地址时，很久都没有反应。必须在服务器本机上重新启动httpd服务后，才可以通过的别的机器以web方式登陆该机器。请问这是什么原因？

你的服务器名到IP的解析可能有问题，因为太慢了用IP试试

我就是用IP也无法登陆，多次试验完全一样，这个与到IP的解析没有关系的。

Where is the log file of apache? I find a file "error_log" in the directory "/var/log/httpd". Is it this one? From this file, I got the following lines at the end of the file. Can you see what is wrong from them?

To speak the truth, I do not know how to read the log file and how to get useful information from it. I am not perfunctory on purpose. I am very sorry.

从日志文件里可以看到最多的两条错误信息是像下面这样的：

总是读某个文件，但是不存在。查了一下域名，客户机是inktomisearch.com，是不是某个搜索网站。

总是说某个子进程还没有推出，经常出现一大堆这样的话。

我不知道是不是由于上述两个原因引起，没有出现别的奇怪的现象。麻烦gugong以及其它有经验的帮忙看看，万分感谢。

日志中有没有类似“[error] server reached MaxClients setting, consider raising the MaxClients setting”的错误，如果有的话那也许是访问量太大了，超过限制了，请适当增加 MaxClients 的值
