我的DEBIAN不能更改分辨率

如题，默认分辨率是1024 X 768 @75 HZ 使用一点问题都没有，
就是不能更改分辨率。
如降低分辨率的话，X就会锁死。
请问怎样解决？

有没有出错后的err log？

楼上的，请问出错后的ERROR LOG在那里？
更改分辨率的时候什么提示都没有，
X就立即锁死了，

什么显示器？液晶吗？

是呀！就是液晶！
本来刚安装完系统的时候是可以改分辨率的，但是升级到TESTING版本后就不能改了。
怎么解决呢？
