It is great ime ,but i always get the following error which give me great headache!

SCIM确实非常好用，不过在KDE里面好像非常不稳定，经常无法启动。错误信息经常都是
服务连接到panel dameon，搞不懂什么原因

另外，SCIM是不是只支持GBK？
我在GNOME2.4中被他搞得好痛苦
只有LC_ALL设置为GBK才能使用SCIM
但是一设置成GBK，GIMP的界面就成了乱码，提示Missing Charset inFonset Creataion
我在fonts.dir中加入了关于GBK的条目，同时也检查了encodings目录，一切看上去都没有问题，但是就是用不了。
要是SCIM支持GB2312就什么事情都没有了
其实普通用户使用GB2312就足够足够了，GBK有点浪费
