But i still suffer it.
yes, i did log in as ROOT ( sorry for my mistyping, it should be # right? )
and i tried "hdparm -i /dev/hda" but i can't find sth about whether DMA has been set
i just saw that it says *udma 5 that mean my hd is compatitable ATA100 right?
i also tried hdparm -t. and in 2.40.20-8 i read it "50M/sec" or so, but in my 2.40.22 it's only
about "5M/s"! so, nothing's been done, TOO BAD :-(
PS: the exactly error msg is:
HDIO_SET_DMA failed : Operation not permitted!
?????? Can anyone tell me what's going wrong ?????? |
