装gentoo的问题。。。

装gentoo到make install时出现:
In order to use the new kernel image you have
just installed , you will need to reboot the machine .
First , however you will need to either make a bootable floppy diskettc
re-run LILO or have GRUB installed

Checking for LILO ......NO

WARNING: Your system is probably unbootalde now,
After correcting any problems, rerun this script
with command 'mkboot -installkernel'


分区情况是:
/ 10G reiserfs
swap 300MB

请问是什么问题?

没有问题，only a "WARNING" not "ERROR"。

只不过编译内核时因为检查到你没有安装 Linux 引导器，问你是否创建一张 lilo 引导盘
，而你选了 NO，于是系统提示你可能无法启动 Linux。

btw: 你该在英文上多多加油了。

嗯。这么说再我的内核就算编译成功了？可已下一步了吗。

今天发现有这样的问题:
WARNING: Your system is probably unbootalde now,
After correcting any problems, rerun this script
with command 'mkboot -installkernel'

make[1]: *** [install] Error1
make: *** [install] Error2

问题已解决。原来要先装grub
但是为什么兄弟们写的gentoo安装指南是先编译好内核后再装的grub呢？难道他们没有遇到这样的问题？

那是因为本来就有了，所以都没有安装，

问题已解决。原来要先装grub

因为我们是在其它发行版上编译的内核，自然能够找到那个发行版带的 grub 了。。。

而 gentoo stage3 是不自带 grub/lilo 的。。。

所以装完了，重启之前 emerge 一个grub先。
