when i type "gmplayer" in rxvt
i can see nothing, but it is runing for sure!
and i may close it by C-c
also i can display mp3 using mplayer
why does the odd thing come to me?
any suggestion?
R u sure that at least one of the skin packages has been unpacked correctlly?
When I compile gmplayer and run it first time, no thing shows.
And then I found sth. in the error-output which said gmplayer can't find the skin files.
So I unpacked the Windowsmedia....'s skinpack to ~/.mplayer/Skin and rename it as "default", and I restart my gmplayer, it does works !
Try it, if it works.
