Compile mplayer in RH8 failed

i downloaded mplayer-0.90.rc2 from this site. followed the compile instruction. but i got a messege said "... symbol libdha.so to libdha.so.0.1: permittion not allow" when make it, and can not make install of course. what is that?

用root用户再试一下

to avoid problems unexpectly, i always use root account. my RH is installed as WorkStatition, and i should have all necessary development packages and privilege, i think.
