编译使用6.2.12内核后,声卡出问题了

编译时选中alsa支持,选择 intel8x0驱动.
重启后,出现错误:
ERROR:inserting snd-intel8x0(/lib/modules/2.6.12/kernel/sound/pci/snd-intel8x0.ko)
Unkown symbol in moduels,or Unkown parameter

再次编译,去掉alsa支持,到网上下载asla驱动,安装后,依然出现上述错误.

注释/etc/modprobe.conf掉所有的snd行及其option行.重启,就可以了.

Sorry, I can't input Chinese from the Lab.

I don't know the reason. I just search the Goolge for it  and some guy happened to the same thing.

I think that the kernel 2.6.12 mingt use the new method to register modules.

Have you notice that when FC4 has been installed the newest NVidia driver (7664) doesn't need the "alias char-major-195 nvidia" in /etc/modprobe.conf?

Anyway, your problem has been worked around. That's lucky.
