I use gentoo,i localize my gentoo using xtt+xft method!but..

in kde ,it is perfect,
but some gtk program can not display fonts at all,not even english character.
these programs are like xmms,downloader for x,and gftp.
could somebody help me please,i post it in linuxsir.com but nobody can answer me.

I don't know if you have setted the file in /etc/gtk/gtkrc.zh_CN ????
then if you put the font file "simsun.ttf " or other file in /usr/share/fonts/
then make a fonts.dir and fonts.scale in this directory. finally chkfontpath -a /usr/share/fonts
about xmms, you must set the fonts in "option->function settting->fonts "
you can find some articles about this aspect , there are so many articles in this forum. you can search for it .
