很菜的菜鸟，问个很菜的问题。

我安装的是HIWEED DEBIAN 0。6 ,除了版本外，还有什么WOODY SARGE等等，是什么意思阿？如何判断自己的是WOODY 还是SARGE？想要稳妥点，该配置怎样的SOURCES.LIST ? 菜了点，请大家多多指教。
BTW：这里的朋友都挺热心的，现在基本一上网就在这泡着，努力学习中——

呵呵，回楼上的，已经搜索过了，没有我要的答案，所以才另外发问，我的主要问题是1，其实SOURCES。LIST自己已经配置好了。只是想要个稳妥的方案，STABLE和TESTING，呵呵，我GOOGLE了一下，都没有发现什么来界定SARGE和WOODY，热心朋友帮我一下，OK？

woody是最稳定的，安装最费时的，好像就是stable
sarge不是最稳定的，也不是最新的，好像是testing
还有个是什么最新的，但是三种中最不稳定的（相对而言），记不得是什么了
不太会debian，不过有点喜欢debian的apt，更喜欢gentoo的emerge，呵呵

用sarge或者testing都是比较好的选择
软件比较新 系统比较稳定 我用的是testing

现在sarge=stable testing=etch sid永远等于unstable

woody是很老的说法了 可以忽略不管

最新的是unstable，代号永远都是sid
