支持的，我还用过，确实要在./configure时加一个参数（对不起，我不记得了，请用./configure --help查看），不过以xine为后台bug很多，中文支持有问题（打补丁可解决），更要命的是，如果你在windows下用播放器给mp3加入了专集封面，rhythmbox会提示“搜索文件信息失败”，mp3就加不进去了。

I would like to use the Xine player instead of the GStreamer one. How can I enable it?

    The xine-lib backend was removed as it was unmaintained, and GStreamer reached the necessary standards for Rhythmbox' use. It also allows use to do things like Music sharing and Audio CD creation otherwise not possible with the xine-lib backend.
