看来你只有重装系统,估计你装Linux时没有把中文作为默认选项.

no,i had chosen chinese as the default system language in installation.and my gnome runs well but just slowly.so i chang to xfce.only the popmenu and the title bar have some problem
in display chinese.i don't know what to do.Maybe the reason is my installing simsun.ttf not correctly..............
Are u using xfce?can u tell me how can u get everything goes well?????3x

去下载Magic Linux的第二张光盘吧，上面有一个xfce，相信已经做好显示和输入中文的设置了。

设置字体的不要只设置中文字体，而是想/etc/gtk/gtkrc.zh_CN中那样，
先设置英文字体，然后加个逗号，然后再写中文字体。
这是gtk+版的xfce的问题，xfce4将不会有这个问题。
