【求助】如何升级FC4系统自带的firefox浏览器？

在FC4下，下载了firefox-1.5.0.1.tar.gz，想升级系统自带的firefox1.0.4，用tar解压后生成了一个firefox目录，没有可编译的文件，将所有文件拷贝到系统原有的firefox1.0.4文件夹下（在/usr/lib下），执行桌面的浏览器图标和文件夹中的文件均无法启动浏览器，请高手帮助。谢谢。在线等！
