it's so said that the OS will use the mem for buffering before the request of memory is below the total amount of the Memory.but what wiil the if os do if the request exceeds it? then my OS aborts the application and write down the log as:"run out of memory",and howabout the swap ?it's never used!
is there some switch i have to open or some options i have to set?
