关于NVIDIA驱动安装的问题

刚接触linux, 装的是suse 10. 安装完后进入X Server, 那屏幕花了. 据说装nvidia驱动能搞定, 按照前辈们帖子的指示进行, 下面是具体操作步骤:

>sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8756-pkg1.run

进入安装界面

> License accepted.

> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; would you like the installer to attempt to download a kernel interface for your kernel from the NVIDIA ftp site (ftp://download.nvidia.com)? (选择: No)

> No precompiled kernel interface was found to match your kernel; this meansthat the installer will need to compile a new kernel interface.

这里开始编译 Compile Kernel modules
编译完后就reponse一个错误窗口, 如下

Error: Unable to load the kernel module 'nvidia.ko',. This happens most frequently when this kernel module was built against the wrong or improprely configured kernel sources, with a version of gcc that differs form the one used to build the target kernel, or if a driver such as rivafb/nvidiafb is present and prevent the NVIDIA kernel module from obtaining ownership of the NVIDIA graphics device(s)
kfnudriver such assn

看意思好像说gcc版本不对, 应该如何解决啊, 我不清楚应该具体怎么弄啊, 则腾了两小时啦,谢谢大家帮我个

你是用的root用户吗?suse10不会出现这个问题的.

是啊, 可我装的的确是suse10啊. 这个具体是啥问题导致的啊?

一开始就是用的you了,没有找到对应的NVIDIA driver才手工搞的,没想到结局让人伤心!
